To Mew or To Meow

Do I mew?

Or do I meow?

I’d like to think I mew and meow, but this answer does not suffice.

The art of mewing is more advanced than to meow, but does this mean meowing is less inviting?

Catnip mice, sunlight beams, sleeping with my favorite alligator plushie, napping by my mother’s feet— “Mew,” I say as I wake up from a dream. As I grow older in age, I realize I long for my mother and my favorite blanket. I like a strict routine and I have been through things better left unseen.

At this time in my life I conclude with this, mewing not meowing.

Thanks.
