Life with relevance

I am blessed to walk beside my friend who has brain cancer through his end of life journey.


He has been really philosophical about life lately. I guess when you have brain cancer and a short indeterminate life expectancy, what matters, and what doesn’t matter, really becomes self evident, relevant and irrelevant.


If nothing else my friend is teaching me how to live.


I’m beginning to realize that we all have a short indeterminate life expectancy, so life is not about quantity, but rather about quality.
